Village Administrator

The Village of Mechanicsburg, Ohio is seeking applications for the position of Village Administrator.

Successful person will be responsible for administration functions, and operations of all Village utilities including Water, Waste Water, Store Sewer, and Streets.

Successful person should be fluent in in budgeting, project oversight, be able to work well with project engineers, federal, state, and county officials and agencies. 

Completion of secondary education plus 2-4 years experience in water and waste water systems preferred, or equivalent combination required. 

Must be able to understand and follow through with government funding and finance, village policies and procedures, and human resource issues including conflict resolution.

Must be able to communicate well with the public, as well as other village employees, employees of other government agencies, and contractors.

Must be skilled in word processing, computer systems, office equipment, and automobile operation, and possess a valid drivers license. 

Must have experience in supervising others.
