DUTIES:   Primary duties include receiving, documenting, and screening allegations of child abuse/neglect. When needed, individual may provide a wide range of casework services to children and families.  These duties may include any or combination of any of the following:
·         Investigation and/or assessment of child abuse/neglect referrals;
·         Maintenance of a caseload of families/children who require protective assistance;
·         Provision of adoption and post adoption services to children and families.

The Unit Secretary is responsible for coordinating communications, performing unit receptionist activities, and accountable for routine clerical activities in a nursing unit. The Unit Secretary often fulfills the role of the first interaction visitors and patient in the inpatient unit. The interaction between the Unit Secretary and other members is key to ensuring a safe, patient centered work environment.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Ensure call lights and telephone are answered in timely. Responds to call lights and patient needs. Assists with meal tray delivering when necessary.
  • Answers phone calls and questions from patients/clients, visitors, volunteers, medical staff, and co-workers. Provides assistance, guidance, and direction to visitors, patients/families, employees and other departments as necessary. 
  • Completes inpatient call backs as directed by management.
  • Performs checks to notify consulting physicians of inpatient consults as needed. Schedules discharge follow up appointments. Assists in recording traumas and codes within the facility.

CRSI is now hiring Summer Camp Counselors for Developmentally Disabled Individuals in Urbana, OH

This is a temporary position
The days are Monday - Friday from 8:45am - 4:15pm
​

BASIC FUNCTION:
Provide leadership and guidance of a group of up to twelve day campers, ages 7 to 13, with developmental disabilities. Will participate in conducting general camp program, cooperate with the entire staff in working together for the welfare of the camp and campers, and maintain a positive working relationship with other staff.
To assist and support campers in either a work environment or a day service program environment within a structured setting and/or out in the community based upon camper desires and programming opportunities. Counselors are expected to assist campers to learn new skills and work towards maintaining existing skills as well as assisting the camper to choose and engage in activities of the day.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Participate in all training activities that are provided by the camp that aids you in personal growth and skill development (including pre-camp orientation).
  • Auditory and visual ability to respond to critical incidents.
  • Ability to perform routine first aid tasks.
  • Abilities to observe camper behavior, assess its appropriateness, enforce appropriate safety regulations and emergency procedures, and apply appropriate behavior management techniques.
  • Physical ability to operate van and all tie-downs and emergency features.
  • Ability to plan activities that help all campers experience success.
  • Ability to safely perform personal care needs with respect and dignity for the campers.
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Be a friend and leader to each camper in your group to promote improved camper self-image and good group relationships.
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of each weekly schedule at day camp, including planning and leading activities for your own group.
  • Interpret health and safety regulations to the group.
  • Observe each camper daily and check for cuts, bruises, skin rashes, or other indications of illness or injury.
  • Report all Unusual Incidents to their immediate supervisor.
  • Ride the camp bus for camper pick-up and drop-off at least once a week, providing songs, games, and stories, in addition to enforcing safety precautions during the trip.
  • When not riding the bus, meet the bus and any other campers upon their arrival in camp.
  • Help the campers with daily self-maintenance tasks: i.e., collecting and refrigerating lunches upon arrival at camp and eating lunch together; helping your campers prepare for daily activities; and being sure all personal belongings get home each night.
  • Promote good manners at mealtime and encourage common courtesies in serving, passing, and eating of food.
  • Prepare camper progress reports and award certificates.
  • Offer guidance in-group and camp-wide activities.
  • Keep camp supplies and equipment in good shape, including putting them away when finished with a project.
  • Set a positive example recognizing at all times be aware that you are a "model" to all campers and to other staff.
  • Assist as needed with camper check-in and check-out to insure full counselor-parent communication at beginning and end of each session.

Retrieve order specs, documentation and data from SAP; conduct order changes and set ups, 
operate/maintain to assigned productivity standards; control and operate QCS/DCS system; follow job specific procedures during pape machine shut down; cut and/or set cores; assist with paper machine operations and stock prep area; assist Flex Operator when required; process rolls to customer specifications; move material to and around paper mill and stock prep area. Assist in machine maintenance and perform periodic maintenance to machine. Have the ability to qualify and fill-in for Flex Operator.

QUALIFICATIONS: 
Manufacturing experience required (paper

experience preferred). Ability to work swing shift and be trained on multiple positions. Effectively utilize SAP. Demonstrated ability to lead and participate in team based activities. Comprehend and apply basic reading, arithmetic and geometry (testing required). Possess WEIDMANN Forklift Permit and Crane Operating Permit. Ability to use a tape measure and precision measuring equipment. Ability to read diagrams, work instructions and apply them to job. Must be able to multi-task and work with little supervision in a team environment. Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges. Physical requirements – lift and manipulate unwieldy parts weighing approximately 75 pound range up to 100 lbs. with help. Ability to push/pull 60 pounds on own. Physical requirement to work in a un-climate controlled environment. Basic keyboarding skills and basic knowledge of computer operations. Ability to work up to a maximum of 16 hours in a day.
