On May 8th, the Junior Achievement (JA) Business Hall of Fame proudly inducted four exceptional individuals at a prestigious ceremony held at the Clark State Hollenbeck Conference Center in Springfield, Ohio. These honorees exemplify business excellence, vision, innovation, inspirational leadership, and unwavering community support. The 2024 Award Recipients are:
Champaign County Native Emily Stanton Promotes Movement at CRSI with "Quit the Sit" Presentation5/30/2024
Drawing from her extensive experience in physical therapy and wellness, Stanton outlined practical strategies for integrating more movement into everyday life, making her advice accessible and actionable for all attendees.
During the ceremony, the Class of 2024 was recognized for choosing their “E” – employment, enrollment, or enlistment. Approximately 60 percent of the Class of 2024 is employed, helping to fill the immediate gap in the workforce. This school year, nearly 200 students participated in the Work-Based Learning program, logging over 94,000 work hours and collectively earning an estimated $574,000. In addition, students received over 600 industry-recognized credentials.
