The Champaign County Arts Council is set to host a captivating joint exhibition, Visions in Landscapes, featuring watercolor artist Rhonda Sloan and photographer Pete Dysinger. The show will run from October 17 through November 9 at the Arts Council gallery, 119 Miami Street, Urbana. An opening reception will be held on Friday, October 17, from 6–8 p.m., offering the community a chance to meet the artists and enjoy an evening of creativity and conversation.
Sloan’s watercolors draw inspiration from nature, everyday life, and travel, capturing light and atmosphere in ways that evoke deep emotion. Her work has been featured in regional exhibitions and private collections across the country. Dysinger, meanwhile, debuts his first public exhibition with striking landscape photography that reflects both the vastness and intimacy of nature. The event highlights the Arts Council’s continued mission to showcase diverse artistic voices and encourage community engagement with the arts.
