Jackson, who has been active in missions and community service through local schools and organizations, is encouraging the public to donate book bags to help equip children with basic educational tools. A donation container is currently located at Grimes Field in Urbana, where Jackson will also be collecting book bags in person during the Grimes Field Fireworks Festival on Friday, July 5.
The project is supported by members of the West Liberty and Urbana communities, as well as through school-based programs and local businesses. Community members who would like to support the project can bring donations to the airport on July 5 or contact Bethann Jackson directly at 937-869-5953 or [email protected] for more information. The Big Bag Project is part of a continuing effort to provide educational resources and strengthen global connections through grassroots generosity. Not receiving our content regularly?
