The building’s new owners have been hard at work improving the space, tackling essential repairs such as roof work, front door glass replacement, masonry restoration, and evaluations of the electric and plumbing systems. Their efforts are aimed at ensuring the space is safe, functional, and welcoming ahead of the

bookstore’s anticipated grand opening this fall.

While renovations continue, Sunshine Book Nook is focusing on curating and organizing its book inventory. The team also offered heartfelt thanks to community members who have donated books to help bring the shop’s vision to life.
