Scott Kirby to Perform Piano & Multimedia Program in Urbana on September 25

​The Champaign County Arts Council is proud to welcome renowned pianist and multimedia artist Scott Kirby for an evening of music, visuals, and storytelling on Thursday, September 25 at 6:30 PM. The event will take place at the Champaign County Arts Council, 119 Miami Street, Urbana.

Kirby’s performance will feature a blend of piano favorites from the American repertoire, classic ragtime, and selections from his celebrated project “Main Street Champaign County” (2019). In addition, audiences will get an exclusive preview of his upcoming “Main Street Springfield” program, which will debut a week later at the State Theatre in Springfield.

Adding to the evening’s excitement, Kirby will host a “fire sale” of original unframed watercolor paintings beginning at 5:30 PM. These works will be available for purchase at special discounted prices, offering attendees a unique opportunity to take home a piece of his artistry.

Known for weaving together visual art and live music, Kirby’s performances are both nostalgic and fresh, capturing the soul of small towns and historic streetscapes through sound and image.
