Mechanicsburg Public Library Releases Packed Lineup of Youth and Adult Programs for July 2025

​The Mechanicsburg Public Library is bringing the heat this summer with a dynamic schedule of programs for all ages throughout the month of July.

Youth Highlights:

• Elementary Summer Reading (Tuesdays at 11 AM): Explore art through different styles each week.
• Coding Club (Tuesdays at 2 PM): Hands-on fun with programming and robotics.
• Books & Bridles (Saturday, July 12, 11 AM–1 PM): Kids can read to real therapy animals, including a miniature donkey and two horses.
• Pokémon Go Walks & Party: Join Friday walks (1 PM) and celebrate the 9th anniversary on Saturday, July 26, with themed crafts, food, and cosplay.
• Slime Society, Lego Club, Anime Club, and Donuts & Debate round out the fun with creative outlets for tweens and teens.

Special guest Emily Rozmus will host a book reading and signing on Saturday, July 26, from 1–2:30 PM, featuring her debut novel The Fullington Road Monster.

Free meals for youth are also available Mondays at Mechanicsburg United Methodist Church (11 AM–12 PM), open to children ages 1–18 and young adults with disabilities.

Youth Programs

Adult Events:

• Crafts Galore: Enjoy projects like Paint What’s On Your Mind, Nail Polish Marble Mugs, Ice Cream Magnet Diamond Painting, and Peas in a Pod Crochet.
  
• Clubs & Games: Join Euchre nights, Chess Club, Bingo, and Cookbook Club featuring The Official Harry Potter Christmas Cookbook.
  
• Learning & Tech: Sign up for Basic Computer Skills: Mousercise on July 15 or 18.
  
• Special Events: Don’t miss the Everything Must Go finale (July 28–August 2) to complete unfinished crafts while supplies last.
