Free Summer Career Pathway Program Coming to Urbana for Local Teens

Prevention Awareness Support Services (PASS) is offering a free Summer Career Pathway Program this July for students in 8th through 12th grade, including graduating seniors. The Urbana session will be held at Mercy Health – Urbana Hospital, giving local youth a unique opportunity to explore future career paths in a hands-on, supportive setting.

Running July 14 through July 31, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the program focuses on careers in healthcare, education, and human services. Activities include:

• Hands-on career exploration​

• Interactive guest speakers
• Team-building games
• Skill-building workshops

​Students who participate will receive a free t-shirt, earn a stipend, and gain valuable experience for their resumes and college applications.

Spots are limited, and early registration is encouraged.
