The Covid Legacy Memorial Corp., a non-profit founded by Bellefontaine resident Rachael Sandoval after the heartbreaking loss of her 25-year-old son, Keith Wisecup, to Covid in 2021, is dedicated to preserving the memories of those who succumbed to the virus. The exhibit features the names, photographs, and personal stories of individuals from across the world who lost their lives, providing visitors with an opportunity to reflect, remember, and honor them.
“This memorial keeps their legacies alive,” said Sandoval. “Each story is unique, and together they remind us of both the pain and resilience felt by families and communities worldwide.” The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are invited to walk through the memorial, read the heartfelt stories submitted by families, and pay tribute to those who are gone but not forgotten.
