Community Gathers for Golf Outing to Support Junior Achievement

The scenic Reid Park Golf Course is set to host a vibrant community event on August 23, 2024, as it welcomes participants for a golf outing aimed at supporting Junior Achievement. This exciting event will take place on the North Course of Reid Park, located at 1325 S. Bird Rd, Springfield, Ohio.

​The day promises to be filled with fun and competition, featuring various on-course games such as the Golf Ball Cannon, Longest Drive, and Closest to the Pin. Registration begins at 9:00 AM, with a shotgun start scheduled for 10:00 AM. Golfers will also enjoy a midday lunch and a 2:30 PM awards ceremony.

Junior Achievement, the beneficiary of this event, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating young people about entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and work readiness. Through hands-on experiences, the organization partners with businesses and educators to bring real-world skills and knowledge to students, helping them realize their potential and prepare for future careers. Remarkably, every $250 raised through this golf outing supports one classroom.
