Champaign Family YMCA Gears Up for Healthy Kids Day on April 26th

The Champaign Family YMCA is thrilled to announce the return of Healthy Kids Day on April 26th, 2025. This annual event, celebrated at YMCAs across the country, aims to inspire healthy habits in kids and families through a variety of fun and engaging activities.

Event Highlights:

• 5K and 1-Mile Race/Walk: Kick off the day with a morning run or walk.
• Fire Truck Display: Explore a real fire truck up close.
• Youth Fitness Tests: Challenge your fitness levels with fun tests.​

• Healthy Snacks: Enjoy nutritious snacks throughout the event.
• Petting Zoo: Meet and greet friendly animals.
• Jumbo Games with Prizes: Participate in oversized games and win prizes.
• Food Trucks: Savor delicious treats from local food trucks.
• Coloring Activities: Unleash your creativity with coloring fun.
• Music and Fitness Class Demos: Groove to music and try out fitness classes.
• Face Painting: Get your face painted with fun designs.
• Free Bike Helmets and Prize Drawings: Win bike helmets and other exciting prizes.
• Inflatable Obstacle Course: Bounce and climb through an inflatable course.
• YMCA Membership Specials: Take advantage of special membership offers.

Call for Sponsors and Vendors: The YMCA is seeking additional sponsors to support this community event. Sponsorship levels range from $100 to $1,000, with benefits including logo visibility on promotional materials, social media recognition, and more. Local businesses and organizations are also invited to set up free vendor booths to hold activities or distribute information. Each booth will be provided with a table and two chairs.
