Rise FM Announces Merger with River Radio Ministries to Expand Kingdom Impact Across Ohio
Rise FM is thrilled to announce an exciting new chapter in its ministry. After much prayer, reflection, and collaboration, Rise FM will merge with River Radio Ministries (RRM), the organization behind 104.9 The River in Columbus and 104.5 The River in Wooster, effective Friday, November 29, 2024. This merger is poised to significantly enhance the reach and impact of both ministries, bringing hope and encouragement to even more communities across Ohio.
The decision to merge stems from a shared vision: to do more together for God’s Kingdom. Mark Boyer, Founder and General Manager of Rise FM, explained, “This journey began in September 2023 when I felt led to ask a simple question: Are we better together? After months of prayerful consideration and discussions with RRM CEO Bill Montgomery, we concluded that the answer was a resounding yes. Together, we can combine our strengths to make a greater impact.”
