Josh Wilcoxon Named Football Athlete of the Month
​Congratulations to West Liberty-Salem Local School Football Athlete of the Month, Josh Wilcoxon!

Heading into the program's 1st State Semifinal game on Friday night, Wilcoxon leads the Tigers with 1,181 rushing yards and 22 TDs. The senior has also racked up 101 tackles, including 12.0 for a loss and 4.5 sacks for the 13-1 Tigers.

WL-S Tiger Football State Semifinal Sendoff & Game Info
​West Liberty-Salem Schools invites the Champaign County community to help send off the football team on Friday at 2:50 PM. We will meet at the south entrance of WL-S school. We would also encourage anyone in Urbana to park at The Airport Cafe, Theresa's Gingerbread House (just south of White's Ford), or the Community Building (south 68 at the edge of town), line the street and wish them luck as they head south!​
Bring your signs, school spirit, and noise makers! The busses officially leave the school at 3:00 pm. If you live along 68, you could also put signs in your yard if you can't join us!

West Liberty Christmas Tour of Homes Set for Sat. Dec. 7 from 4-8pm
​The West Liberty Business Association is excited to announce the highly anticipated West Liberty Christmas Tour of Homes, set for Saturday, December 7, from 4 to 8 p.m.
Tickets are available for purchase in advance at The Town Hall, located at 201 N. Detroit St., West Liberty, OH, and through Eventbrite. Tickets can also be purchased at Town Hall or the Piatt Cabin Guesthouse during the tour. Please note that if you purchase on Eventbrite, you’ll still need to pick up your ticket at the Town Hall before heading to your first stop. Tickets are $20 per person.  

This year’s tour will feature eight stops—six within the Village and two just outside of town—promising a festive evening of beautiful homes and holiday cheer.

Tiger Football Team is State-Bound, Village of West Liberty Postpones Christmas Parade
The West Liberty-Salem football team captured the first Regional Championship in program history on Friday night, defeating Indian Lake High School 21-14 in a rain-soaked back-and-forth battle at Piqua.
With the historic victory, the Tigers advance to the State Semifinals where they will meet  Ironton High School at 7pm on Friday, November 29th at Herrnstein Field in Chillicothe, Ohio.

In anticipation of the State Semifinal game, the village of West Liberty has postponed their annual Christmas in the Village Parade to Saturday, November 30th at 6pm.

A West Liberty Business Association Small Business Saturday event on November 30th will continue as scheduled, leading to a full day of holiday celebration in the village.
