Wyatt Longaberger Signs with University of Findlay

West Liberty-Salem High School proudly announces that senior Wyatt Longaberger has signed to continue his academic and athletic career at the University of Findlay, where he will compete for the Oilers men’s soccer program.

Longaberger signed his letter of commitment during a ceremony held in the West Liberty-Salem High School Media Center. He was joined by his family, teammates, Coach Michael Yoder,  Head Coach Tim Wolfe, and Athletic Director Morgan Sullivan as he celebrated this significant milestone.

​West Liberty-Salem High School is proud to announce that senior Corbin Wallace has signed his letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Marietta College, where he will compete as a Safety for the Pioneers football program. Wallace celebrated his signing on February 15, surrounded by family members, coaches, teammates, and friends.

Football has been a central part of Wallace’s life from an early age, and competing at the collegiate level has long been a goal he pursued with dedication and focus. During his time at West Liberty-Salem, he embraced the high standards expected in both the classroom and on the field, developing into a well-rounded student-athlete.

Urbana Schools Invite Community Input at Superintendent Search Forum

The Urbana City School District Board of Education is inviting community members to take part in a public forum to help shape the search for the district’s next superintendent.

The forum will be held March 4, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the PreK-8 Building Dining Commons. The session is designed to gather community input on the 
characteristics, skills, and experience the Board should consider as it evaluates superintendent candidates.

Residents, parents, staff, and stakeholders are encouraged to attend and share their perspectives. Participants will have the opportunity to provide feedback both verbally and in writing.

District leaders say community input is an important part of the superintendent selection process and will help guide decision-making as the search moves forward.
