Water/ Waste Water Superintendent

The Village of North Lewisburg is accepting applications for a Level 1 Water Plant Operator combined with a Level 2 Waste Water Plant Operator.

The Village’s preference is to hire a level 1 Water combined with a level 2 Wastewater. We will consider hiring a lesser level than the EPA requirements. The position is a full-time position offering benefits.

Job Functions:
 Ensure the Water Treatment Plant operates within EPA and regulatory
guidelines.
 Ensure the Waste Water Treatment Plant operates within EPA and regulatory
guidelines.
 Perform routine laboratory testing and analysis.
 Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to
supervisor in order to facilitate prompt correction or reporting.
 Maintain equipment in proper operating condition by performing simple
preventive maintenance tasks.
 Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes,
and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer
service.
 Perform services on the collection side such as meter reading, maintenance, and
repairing water leaks.
Job Requirements:
 At least 18 years of age or older. 
 High school graduate.
 Possess a valid Ohio driver's license. CDL is preferred but not required.
 Ohio EPA Class I Water Distribution Certificate and an Ohio EPA Level 2 Waste
Water Treatment Certificate, or willing to obtain these within two (2) years of
hire.

Hourly pay range: $28.00 (licensed/Operator)
