Maintenance Technician

Position Summary
This position is responsible for the maintenance and repairing of plant machinery and equipment.

Shift Requirements
6pm-6am 3-4 days/week

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on processing equipment, processing support equipment, utility support equipment, and facility related machinery and equipment
• Follow blueprints, specifications, diagrams and service manuals to repair and maintain equipment
• Repair broken parts using brazing, soldering, and welding equipment and hand tools
• Maintain the safest possible work environment for self and co-workers

Education Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Education Desired
Associate’s DegreeSKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Work Experience Required
Stable work history required
Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired

• Technical background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, processing, blueprints and programming
• Ability to use formulas, theories, and measurements
• Able to use technical equipment and tools to troubleshoot any problems associated with plant equipment
• Computer literacy along with organizational skills in work priorities, understanding drawings and/or other procedures that have to do with maintaining the equipment/building side of plant operations
• Installing, designing, and fabricating equipment for production operations
