Madison-Champaign ESC Hiring Business & School Liaison to Support Career Pathways

The Madison-Champaign Educational Service Center is seeking a Business & School Liaison to help strengthen connections between Champaign County schools and local employers.

This key role serves as a central point of contact for the county’s five school districts and area businesses, focusing on 

expanding career exploration and workforce pathways for students. The liaison will help schools and employers collaborate on opportunities that prepare youth for future success.

The position is based in Champaign County and follows an 8-hour day, 225-day schedule spread across 12 months, with occasional evening flexibility required. The start date is August 1, 2026, and salary will be based on experience and the approved salary schedule.

Candidates should have experience building partnerships between schools and community organizations, knowledge of K–12 education and workforce development, and strong communication and collaboration skills. Ideal applicants are relationship-builders who can manage multiple initiatives and help lead organizational change.
