Triad Local Schools is seeking applicants for the position of High School Principal for grades 9-12.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Valid Ohio certificate/license to serve as a high school principal
• Master’s degree or higher
• At least three (3) years of exemplary teaching experience
• Leadership and motivational building management skills, able to lead staff and effectively communicate his/her vision for the school
• Ability to understand the community and student demographics and have a desire to cultivate strong, positive local social connections
• Strong ability to gather, analyze, and interpret student data to make sound educational decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communications and organizational skills
• Understands state mandated assessments as well as state content learning standards
• Strong knowledge of effective pedagogical practices, resources, and best practices for instruction and assessment
• Must be able to work some evenings and weekends
• Participates as an active member of the management team
• Upholds board policies and follows administrative guidelines/procedures
• Promotes a professional image of the school district
• Ability to work with staff, students and parents in a positive manner
• BCI & FBI background checks will be required of the approved candidate

Reports to: Superintendent

Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
