General Manager

Anytime Fitness is now hiring a General Manager for their Urbana location.

The General Manager is expected to take full ownership in the sales growth of their assigned location. This position is responsible for driving revenue, effectively managing and driving the prospect pipeline and ensuring that daily structure and focuses are clear and upheld by all club level staff.

Qualifications:

• Sales & management experience is a plus but not required.
• High School or equivalent preferred.
• Passion for health and helping others.
• Ability to maximize sales opportunities and achieve personal sales goals.
• Self-motivated and hard working.
• Strong leadership ability.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Exceptional customer service skills (1 year preferred).
• Comfortable with local, community-based networking.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop membership sales pipeline.
• Establish and maintain a positive presence in the local community.
• Help maintain a clean and inviting environment for members.
• Develop and nurture relationships with prospective members through outreach calls, appointment setting, and club tours.
• Manage facility operations to include maintaining standards, managing staff, and providing excellent customer service.
• Be an ambassador of the Anytime Fitness brand.

Requirements:

• Must be available to work the staff hours from Monday-Thursday from 10am-7pm and Fridays from 10am-5pm. Staffing may mandate some Saturdays from 9am-12pm.

• Strong people skills- you’re approachable, a good listener, and empathetic.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
