Shared Position – Shelby & Champaign County Boards of Developmental Disabilities
📍 Locations: Shelby County (Sidney, OH) & Champaign County (Urbana, OH)

💼 Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week, M–F, generally 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
💵 Starting Pay: $94,780 annually (commensurate with experience)

Job Overview
The Shelby and Champaign County Boards of Developmental Disabilities are seeking a qualified Finance & Operations Director to manage and lead fiscal operations across both counties. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong financial management skills, knowledge of government funding, and a passion for public service.

✅ Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (required)
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles
• Effective communicator and team collaborator
• Willingness to learn Ohio DODD cost reporting formats
• Supervisory experience
• Governmental funding experience (preferred)
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record
• Clear background checks (BCI/FBI and others)

📝 Duties Include (Not Limited To):

• Oversee financial operations including budget, payroll, grants, accounts payable/receivable, and Medicaid waiver funding
• Coordinate and monitor annual budget and levy planning
• Analyze funding projections and pursue alternate revenue streams
• Supervise fiscal staff and IT/building operations
• Serve as the primary contact during audits and for all state/federal financial reporting
• Maintain records for state/federal programs and grants
• Serve on the leadership team and advise the Superintendent
• Coordinate Medicaid Administrative Claiming (MAC)
• Oversee long-term financial planning and internal controls

• Starting pay: $94,780/year (negotiable based on experience)
