CNC Operator

Rittal North America LLC is now hiring!
LOCATION: Urbana, OH
OPENINGS ON 2ND & 3RD SHIFTS
PRIMARY ACTIVITIES/DUTIES:
* Operate CNC TYPE and manual equipment to safely produce quality parts at established production requirements.
* Read BLUEPRINTS, ROUTERS and complete tasks according to specification.
* Perform Secondary Operations such as grinding, manual stud welding, and spot welding.
* Maintain stringent quality standards by ensuring adherence to ISO GUIDELINES and Rittal quality protocol.
* Know and actively practice 6S.
* Perform first-piece, in-process and other inspections as required.
* Perform operator PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE (OPM) activity.
* Participate in CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT (CIP) activity.
* Understand the material routing and report production per SAP requirements.
* Help cultivate team building within Rittal, support the Rittal Production System (RPS). KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
* HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. 
* Ability to use TOOLS OF MEASUREMENT and have BASIC MATH skills required. 
* Prior machine operating experience preferred. PHYSICAL, MENTAL, & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
* Stand at machine throughout the work shift. 
* Walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the work shift. 
* Occasionally lift up to 50 POUNDS TO WAIST LEVEl; frequently lift 25–40 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds above the shoulders.
* Work in a fast-paced environment, be able to adapt to assignment changes easily and have the ability to multitask. 
​* WEAR SAFETY-TOED FOOTWEAR, SAFETY GLASSES WITH SIDE SHIELDS, HEARING PROTECTION, and additional personal protective equipment (PPE) where required.  Follow all other safety rules and know emergency protocols. BENEFITS AVAILABLE THE 1ST OF THE MONTH
