City of Urbana Now Hiring Seasonal Workers for Parks and Cemetery Maintenance

The City of Urbana is now accepting applications for several seasonal worker positions to assist with maintenance at Oakdale Cemetery and City Parks. These part-time positions offer $14.00 per hour and provide an opportunity to contribute to the care and upkeep of Urbana’s public spaces.

While these seasonal roles are not eligible for city benefits, they provide valuable work experience in outdoor maintenance and public service.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Relevant experience or a combination of education and experience in maintenance or labor work

• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
