Automotive Lube Technician

SVG Motors Lube Tech Duties and Responsibilities

A lube tech's main responsibility is to perform oil changes on customer vehicles. They will also be required to use the appropriate lubricants where necessary on other areas of vehicles. Other responsibilities of a lube tech include:

*Clean Engines
*Inspect Vehicles
*Inspect Tires
*Replace Filters
*Check Minor Electrical Components
*Make Recommendations (if issues are seen on a customer vehicle, lube techs need to be able to communicate their concerns to a service technician so that the correct information can be supplied to the customer)
*Follow Safety Procedures

The service department is open from 7:30 am until 5:30 pm Monday - Friday, and from 8:00 am until noon on Saturdays. Lube technicians will be required to work on Saturdays. SVG is interviewing lube technicians for both the Urbana, Dayton and Beavercreek locations.
