• Overseeing and enforcing the cleaning and maintenance of the shelter. Staff helps with cleaning, including but not limited to daily cleaning of the water cooler, preparing the dining room for breakfast, cleaning the dining room floor after the tutoring program, wrapping silverware, laundering all kitchen towels, cleaning the vacuum cleaner, labeling and storing soup kitchen leftovers, and any other cleaning as needed and assigned.
• Accepting donations of clothes, food, furniture and items received at the shelter on weekends or weekday evenings.
• Properly documenting all client information and all donation information.
• Carrying the portable phone at all times.
• Keeping the exterior doors locked at all times and alarm on back room door. This is for your safety.
• Monitoring all security cameras.
• Performing additional duties as designated by the Executive Director or Shelter Manager.
